The Adams Apprenticeship: Continuing Connections

On Friday Feb. 17, 2017, the second annual Adams Apprenticeship Forum & Gala was held in the University's Alumni Hall. The event represented the coming together of apprentices, advisors and members of the Adams Apprenticeship network as they celebrated all the accomplishments of the past year. The program also welcomed its newest class of apprentices into the program and honored its graduating class with the presentation of symbolic challenge coins.

At the event's Awards Ceremony and Dinner, Robin Richards Donohoe was honored with the Adams Entrepreneurial Pioneer Award. Robin is the co-founder and director of two information technology venture capital funds, Draper International and Draper Richards. She also founded venture philanthropy fund Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation that has become a leader in the nation in advancing social entrepreneurship globally to address some of the world's most challenging issues.

“The neat thing is that these relationships will continue to evolve as the apprentices graduate from the program and embark on their careers, so the time we spend together within the context of the program is really just the beginning.”
